Ahrefs Vs SEO Spyglass?

In your opinion, which backlink analysis software offers a more complete analysis (or finds more backlinks) for the profile of a website? In my personal use I find ahrefs more convenient for day to day analysis, but often times SEO spyglass seems to find backlinks that other link analysis programs do not detect.

Ahrefs is by far the best. SEO Spyglass tends to be really slow, IMO.
 
Has anyone experienced what I described in the original post? In that often times SEO Spyglass is able to detect links that are not otherwise shown by ahrefs?
 
I notice that many people use seo spyglass for link analysis. I think it's the only tool to report on links that are currently in place. The problem with many other tools is that they just grab links from their index without checking them for relevancy. As a result, the amount of links reported on is overwhelming but how useful they are without a relevancy check? Spyglass is different. It finds relevant links only. It analyzes each link across many factors, including anchor text, google pr, alexa rank, number of external links on this pages and lots of other stuff. The tool allows you to update backlink data over time.

So thus I believe spyglass offers a more complete analysis.
 
I use ahrefs, MajesticsSEO and Moz Siteexplorer. That way, if one misses link the other picks up. Yes, I have found discrepancies before. Ahrefs seems to have the lion share of links.

BTW, if you are not going to use it constantly, you better of ordering reports on Fiverr and moving on.
 
In my opinion and suggesting what I'm doing right now, is why don't you use many tools to get link analysis. the more the tools are the more information you got.

Probably because each tool costs U$ 50 to U$ 100 a month....
 
I have a premium ahref account and it is worth investing money on that.
 
WTF is SEO Spyglass 0.o ? Ahrefs is the best, Majestic SEO is the shittiest service and support ever!
 
I just tried ahref but it shows 0 backlinks no matter what domain I enter there..
 
Ahrefs all the way. I have a paid sub with them. Use it for my backlink profile analysis.
 
I tried both and majestic also, but only been stick to ahref from last 1 year. It is good man for the reason.
 
I am looking to buy buy a paid subscription for ahref site explorer, have been using a trial one and helped a lot in getting the detail report.
 
Ahrefs is a personal favourite of mine. They show some fantastic data and break it down in pretty much every way imaginable. How many links you have, from how many IPs, linking to which pages with which anchor text. They breakdown the links by types and provide all sorts of graphs and visualisation options. The only real drawback with Ahrefs.com is pricing - starting at $79 a month upto $499 a month although the smallest package will suit most. The free account will let you pull a few reports per day but are limited to 500 results.
