Semrush is my go-to SEO tool over Ahrefs. It's a one-stop shop for all things SEO. Plus It's more affordable, making it accessible for small businesses.
 
Semrush because it's cheap and met all my expectations.
 
Ahrefs to check details of your verified site in depth.

Semrush for all other SEO related stuff like Keyword research, competitor analysis, keyword tracking, etc.
 
Both Ahrefs and SEMrush are excellent SEO tools and it ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences. Ahrefs has a stronger backlink analysis and content research features, while SEMrush offers a wider range of tools including keyword research, site audit, and PPC analysis.
 
Both tools are leaders in the industry, it is necessary to use both but if i have to choose one, its ahrefs.
 
Each excels in different things. Ahrefs is better when it comes to backlink analysis and SEMRush is really great in keyword research. If you add their price to the mix, SEMRush is better overall, and if you plan on buying just one, go with SEMRush. They also offer 30 days trial.
 
I prefer SEMRush. Reason? I love it's UI a lot and I believe it offers better results than Ahrefs
 
in my experience ahrefs has more data, so if you're serious about finding every backlink you should go with ahrefs
