I prefer the AHREFS tool rather than SEMRush.

I always preferred Ahrefs UI. Much easier and logical design. You get a clear view over everything.
Their database for competitions analysis is fantastic. Much better than any other tool I've tested.
I haven't used Semrush for the past 2 years though.

That's True. But I think for Keyword research and Competitor Analysis Semrush is far more affective than AHREFS.

Ahrefs has updated their options recently so if you want to use the full features you have to pay more $$ than before, its a bit worrying to pay more 
Semrush remains the same but I suggest semrush more for Keyword research
So depending on your budget and the requirement choose the tool wisely

i used both. but for keywords research and backlinks analysis ahref is better choice.

I like both. and use both.
The problem with ahrefs that their usage limits changed on may, and currently it is very limited in the number of queries per month.
was down from a couple of thousands (depends on the package) to 500/mo.
Luckily, I still have the legacy package, so I keep it, otherwise I would use only SEM.
