Ahrefs VS KWFinder

Hey folks, does anyone know a good reason to use KWFinder over or in addition to Ahrefs?

The only thing I've been able to find is that KWFinder lets you choose a "location" for the keyword search which Ahrefs doesn't, but aside from that it looks like Ahrefs has more data no matter how you slice it.

Is anyone else using these tools together, and if so what does KWFinder do for you?

Data-wise, as you sai Ahrefs.

People go do KWfinder because it's cheaper.

But, it's cheaper for a reason.

What does SEMRush have over ahrefs for keyword research? In my comparisons they seemed to have very similar amounts of data.

Hmm, I have also noticed that even Semrush is good in estimating amount of traffic site is getting its pretty much accurate.

Semrush for keyword research, I have found it more accurate and Ahrefs for link data.

Manual Keywords Research:
1. Use a free keyword research tool such us: Ubersuggest or Google Keyword Planner
2. Go on Google: type the keyword
3. Check the first 4 domains that appear when the keyword entered.
4. Check how many times the keyword appears in their "text" or whatever.
5. Check their backlinks for that specific page with the "keyword". ("competition" backlinks analysis)
6. Optimize your content following their model (On-Page SEO). Note: Following! DO NOT COPY EXACTLY!
7. Build Backlinks for the respective keyword - Preferably Web 2.0(this works the best if your budget is limited)
8. Wait, wait, wait.
9. These are simple tricks I m using. If you disagree doesn't mean it can't work

I know this is a bit apart from the question asked, but this is what I do to avoid paying money to these "tools" such as Ahrefs, Moz, Kwfinder, etc.

Am paying about $200 yearly for kwfinder.. it isnt a bad piece of software but I always use ahrefs to double check the competition.

Ahrefs would be better, but it's way more expensive, as other said for a reason. I use ahrefs because I manage plenty of sites for my customers so I can afford it.
