Ahrefs UR Vs DR

I have a site.... On Ahrefs, I can see the stats for one of my site as follows:

UR showing as 42
DR showing as 26.

Is this due to more links pointing to homepage?

Should I now focus on more links to other pages?

Why are those metrics important for you?

Are you selling links on your site and need some better metrics to fool clients or what?

irrespective to any metrics that you are looking at, yes, you need to have links to other pages besides just the homepage. in your situation, a fair assumption is that you have most of your backlinks pointed to your homepage.

Don't take me wrong. I was wondering why the difference only.

It's due to low authority links pointing to your home page. You need high authority backlinks to have high DR.
