ahrefs stopped free trial?

Now ahrefs stopped free trial and 7$ for 7 days.. what you think..

the result of openly abusing the trial using VCCs
soon Semrush will follow this.

Just checked it, the trial is still bein offered.

Same thing has happened for my accounts. To be fair to them, they allow multiple sign ups and good for auditing/research, they've done this to lower their usage which lowers costs.

Part of it will be for people to sign up going forwards, I don't think a company of their stature would dramatically change their sign up process in the hopes people forget to cancel. The free trail opens up all features for ahres to give users a more comprehensive overview of what they offer in comparison to just a freemium restricted account. once the trail is over or you enter your details and cancel straight away, you go back to freemium. This also prevents multiple accounts being made for one user.

There are loads of other tools to use though, SEMRush is a fantastic one and if you're just wanting to monitor keyword rankings, open a Pro Rank Tracker account and fill in your relevant keywords.

They Have Done The Same In Past & After Few Days They Started Again Free Trial.

If 4 friends got together and paid $25 it's really not a big deal is it, surely everyone who has been in the IM business for any period of time knows 4 people who will find this tool helpful.

this definitely throws a wrench in my system for getting Ahrefs, But $28 a month still beats $179 a month
