First. I LOVE Ahrefs. Specifically Sam Oh. I'll cast my vote with my wallet. Not gonna drop $1,800 for a renewal. Why?
1. Real vs projected. What I do based on what I "should" do, doesn't match.
2. Keywords- Kinda works, mostly doesn't.
3. Broken backlinks- Some were, some weren't.
4. Health report. Similar with other tools. I hope.

Who else is losing the love for AHREFS???

Lately their data seems unreliable. If I checked some kws their volumes change each time. Same thing happens when checking sites in site explorer.

Hope they fix it soon.

I always love when there are few competitors but so far i still haven't anything that can replace ahref in terms of features :(

What alternative is there... Moz? Semrush? I'll just stick with ahrefs..

For now there is no alterantive so we have to be stick with ahref till new tool arrive in market.

They used to use clickstream / jumpshot network data which has been shut down now after it was discovered by users running on Avast anti-virus.. highly unlikely they'll be able to get accurate keyword data again.

Jumpshot may be responsible for supplying data to premium SEO tools. The loss of this data could impact how searches and clicks are calculated by these tools going forward.

For me Moz stands as the main tool. Yeah, I might be abusing the "trial" with each month, BUT! If you already know some tricks, Keyword research, competition, etc, will become EZ-PZ.

Moz = The only tool I will ever use(As is always free L O L)

It's only worth the price if you're using it for enterprise level stuff. Otherwise pretty much any other tool would do the trick since they're all not very accurate.

I'm using the same "trial" each month like you, but would love to know your "tricks" using there please

The fact that Ahrefs is not entirely accurate is nothing new, but they do seem to be getting a bit worse, especially with keyword difficulty. Not one of the major tools is perfect, but you probably know that by now. That’s why we use them all whenever we can.
But you’re completely right to question how worthwhile it may be to keep renewing your Ahrefs subscription. It is unreasonably expensive. There is a reason that so many people keep redoing the free trial exploit.

Ahrefs is not perfect, but for me they are still the best of all the tools.

Ahrefs and semrush are very close to each other, I prefer the Ahrefs interface more.

Moz is completely outdated and It cant find and show 20% of what these two show you

I don´t care if Ahrefs metrics in regards to keyword research are off because, either way, I do my keyword difficulty analysis manually and their backlink index is still the most powerful on the market.

So, running a backlink profile analysis of the top tanking sites for a particular keyword is something I still prefer doing on Ahrefs.

On top of that, their SERP History feature it´s amazing to evaluate keyword volatility on SERPs and determining how much Google is satisfied with the current state of the results for any given search query.

Lastly, there are a bunch of tutorials here on how to come up with keywords and blog topic ideas using Ahrefs which are highly valuable.

So, my vote goes to Ahrefs any day of the week.
