ahrefs showing 100s of backlinks

hello,
I have built around 20 comment backlinks but ahrefs showing 1800 backlinks. why is that ?
when i was building links, i was making sure that i should build a do follow links so i was using seo quack to check no follow back links and i only built do follow comment links according to seo quack but the ahrefs showing all no follow backlinks.
is it bad for my new site?

Did any of the blogs have a recent comments widget? As the links from these kind of comments may be visible on every single page of that website. ahrefs will pick that up and count all the links from the website. When newer commentators come along you will notice the backlinks dropping off. And no follow links aren't bad for your site, a percentage of nofollow links is important for building a diverse link profile.

no i don't have comments widget on my site. how should i go for building do follow as i checked with seo quack and i was only building ********s but i guess they are not, as shown by ahrefs

He was referring to the blogs on which you posted comments, not your site.

If you can PM me your url, I can send you the ahrefs report for the url and you can check for yourself where exactly the links are from.

I cant pm, yes, those blogs has comment widget.
can anybody answer my question that how to check the do follow-no follow. i used seo quack and it showed the other comments on blogs as do follow and i built links but they are all no follow.
