That is darned unfortunate. I like the tool, but since I only have need for monitoring one site and SEO is more of a side hobby of mine than a business. I'm mostly interested in the backlink changes and site ranking. Can get that elsewhere, so not horribly concerned. Would be in for an account if it were sub $20/m for a 1-2 domain account.

could you share your experience?I'll still pay for Standard Plan which is 149usd only. In my opinion, if you can't get enough money from SEO, then you don't need Ahrefs. And if you know the true value of Ahrefs features, you will understand that even 149$ is not much

Sorry to disagree. One might have 3 good sites making good money. (S)He shouldn't have to pay $100 per month for using ahref. (S)He is still doing good business... All I am trying to say is ahref could have a $20 per month plan for these people. I will gladly pay that money per month even if i don't use the tool atall.

They would love too to do that. They know it is expensive, but the price that they need to charge that much is because they still need to buy the data, they have server costs running 24/7 and much other stuff that I don't know.
I think you can find tools for like 20$ a month but for sure they don't know the work that Ahrefs does.

Exactly. This is why ahref is preferred. I don't mind having only 100 searches per month for $20. That would be sufficient for my cause. $100 for the lowest tier is insanely big for a normal imer. The focus here isn't to say that ahref is costly. It is rather about the fact that people will need a smaller plan. Not everyone who does seo is a company...and has 1000s of clients.

I believe there are guys on Fiverr who sell reports for $5. This would be a good BST if someone offers a few smaller plans ($10/20/30 a month), with limit on amount of reports you get per month. Hard part would be organizing it and delivering it quickly. I know I don't want to wait for reports. They really should do a smaller package in the $39.99-$49.99 range.

Then you can go for 80$ per month Lite version which is cheap imho. The things you can do vs the price will be always amazing.

Is there any? I saw $99/m minimum. With 18% gst.. it's like $118 per month, which sucks.. can u link me to the $80 plan?

I was interested for the free plan because I'm not using the tool everyday. So 100$ is not very expensive for such tool, but for only 3 or 4 times to use, it's expensive. I would rather a smaller package, with only 10 researches per day, it'll be enough.
Compare to other seo tools, ahrefs with 100$ is much more powerful than moz paid account.
Ahrefs is THE SEO tool, then you have semrush....
Problem also with such tool is that they will increase their pricing (like semrush that start with less than 50$ and is now at 100$)
As a saas founder, I understand the point to increase the price because the tool is becoming more powerful every day, but I guess that for most of the users, we are using only very very few of their features.

Ahrefs should have pay-as-you-go SAAS like Amazon.
