Ahrefs Removing Free Access

ahref is expensive = YES
Ahref is the absolute best seo tool currently = YES
Any tool comes close to Ahrefs in terms of Data = NO

i mean the owner of Ahref is thinking bout starting a search engine god dammit...think bout that

With the free login I think you could check sites and see only a small percentage of the data.

I can’t remember if there was also a daily query limit like there is with the free majestic account.

Yep, but as I understood, they will have a subscriber package, they did not reveal another detail but something more pocket friendly.

If they’re going to offer a light package at a lower cost that would be great. It’s definitely a tool worth paying for, but the cost still has to be justifiable.

Hes about 20 years too late to start thinking about search engines

Hes about 20 years too late to start thinking about search engines

maybe...but with their data and the owner approach of offering sites money when someone visit them from their search engine...i think he can overcome bing...

Goddammit

Let's just hope that they make a cheaper package for those that don't use it all day and every day.

$100 is way to much for a casual SEOer

I have a 999$ ahrefs account, but I don’t know what can I do with it.i am not good at seo.

why you even buy this for 999$ ? do you use stolen card to register or something fishy ?

is there also giveaway account? , they are not being affected

rip, now i have to re-budget to add an overpriced sub to the monthly fees

Need a BHW marketplace thread that offers competitor analysis, keyword analysis and backlinks report on weekly basis for a monthly subscription. If that happens, Ahrefs will start offering free trial within 6 months :D

Seems like new business venture to me who wants to make a SEO tool which is free/free-trial? :D

Thats a shame, as I used loads of expired trials on a daily basis and only got another trial account when I needed to really blast it for a week. Closing this loophole has been coming, at least we had it for a while!

Ahrefs have confirmed this month they are removing free access to the tool.

Previously if you signed up for a package or a trial, you retained very limited access for free, however it seems they are now going to remove this and make the tool 100% paid only access to data.
That's what happens when people abuse something that works well. Good on them, they don't deserve anything less then the cheap price they are already offering.

Good. I pay for the Standard version for my own projects. Increased barrier to entry and crackdowns on group buying ensure that the people who are willing to pay for a tool that is as incredible as Ahrefs are the ones who will benefit. As a paying member, I would much rather see this than a price increase.

There's blackhatting, and then there's blackhatting the tools that allow you to blackhat. Don't shit where you eat. Don't steal potential income from a tool that saves your ass and makes you money.
