Can anyone tell me what this means from the ahrefs website in the anchor section?

What exaclty do they have 2000 links with the anchor of?

Covering up the other examples makes this hard to answer

So their anchor is an almost empty anchor tag 2000 times...
Code:
<a href="URL"><a>... </a></a>

EDIT: This could be a hidden anchor strategy for getting links. Try it on HTML and put the anchor tags in the anchor...in the end the real anchor text (in your case "... ") becomes plain text. Ahrefs seemingly recognizes all those instances as backlinks although they would ever show as such in webpages! No clue if Google can be fooled though...

This means that 2000 links have no text in anchor (there's either a pic or an empty anchor there)
