Hi,
im new to SEO and took out a trial of ahrefs

in the example below:

Does it mean i could rank very easy on page 1 with a potential of 9700 visiting my site

Im guessing you cant just create a single page site targetting this, and need related content also ?

appreciate any info

Ahrefs is just a tool, I'd still check the SERPs manually to gauge the competition.

You don't necessarily need a website full of content to rank for terms. I have plenty of one-page parasites ranking with gibberish, duplicate content, and keyword stuffing.

Ahrefs says kw difficulty by backlinks every page have for that kwd.
But what if the first 10 are authority sites?
You can't rely on Ahrefs mate

Ahrefs KW difficulty is literally the average number of backlinks per result on the 1st page. It doesn't factor domain or page authority, or relevance as well as many other things. So you shouldn't base your entire SEO strategy on that number.

ive been looking for many long tail keywords related to my niche, under 1000 searches.
is that a good way to go about it?

Article based on main keyword adding in long tail KW to the content

Most of those tools like Ahrefs you cannot use there difficulty ratings as gospel, you will just use it as a gauge to start doing your own manual research. Based on a study done by some top SEO guys, Semrush difficulty ratings came out the most accurate.
