Ahrefs keywords interpretation

Hey guys I started my first blog. And on ahrefs it's shows I have 28 keywords already and next to it it shows +17. What does this mean ?

Does this mean I have +17 keywords that will be added to the 28 or that is the number of keywords I have. Thank you

The "+17" you're seeing on Ahrefs indicates you've got 17 additional keywords that have started ranking since the last check. This means your total count is now 45 keywords.

the + section = keywords ranking you didnt have b4.
