Ahrefs is moving to New Pricing in 2022

Ahrefs was ahead of semrush and other tools but now with more and more tools (including semrush) catching up, average SEOs could easily switch to cheaper and free tools without much to lose.

No doubt Ahrefs is still the no.1 tool for heavy and link business focused SEOs but with all other content creation methods coming up(PAAs, topic based, etc), more and more people would look for alternatives and may never come back to ahrefs without a newer/lower pricing.

I can't imagine how someone can buy this instead of just a trial.

I think this was a badly thought out move and Semrush are rubbing their hands with glee.

yes, in fact, they double their price. We stopped subscribing to it.
