Lol reading people bitching ahrefs.

This is monopoly mates.. When their quality far higher than competitors, they can do whatever they want.

Just pay it or leave it. Nothing else you can do.

We can afford it ofc but you keep supporting this bs and theyll just keep charging more
I highly suggest everyone to dump them
use semrush or kw revealer

  • On-site explorer after searching a site when you visit any features from the left panel (Like Organic keywords, Backlinks, Top pages, broken links, Broken contents, etc) it consumes 1 credit per each feature you visit. When you apply any filter, it consumes 1 credit per filter.
  • When you apply any filter on the results it consumes 1 credit for each. When you change/put anything on the marked section it consumes 1 credit.

Didn't these guys come up with the idea to give away "free" access to their plans if you would donate money to Ukraine? Maybe this made them lose a shit ton of money, people were abusing this and that's why they came up with increased prices and the credit system? Maybe so many people made accounts using this that they have to restrict usage?
 
Go with Semrush which works better for me.
 
They will be out of business if they do not stop these shady practices.
 
Yeah happens I like Ahrefs more than SEMrush, but it's very expensive, SEMrush is an alternative to Ahrefs so try it.
 
I was with ahrefs from the beginning now I'm with spyfu semrush and google trends. The credit system is pure greed.
