You are looking for a question, which does not have answers with lots of upvotes.

In my experience traffic we generated from Quora typically lead to higher conversion rates than other channels. I'm sure it depends on the niche, but those who search and invest the time to read Quora posts tend to be more interested in the subject, thus more qualified leads / audience.
One challenge that I had was Quora moderators typically not liking the links in my answers. I tried to post a number of my answers without links and only included links in a small number of my answers. Still, there were many times the post was deleted by the moderators.... Perhaps it is not your expertise, but if you have any comments on how to get around that, it would be much appreciated.

Makes me happy to know it has inspired you. Thanks for letting me know.You are spot on wrt qualified leads, but moderation is an issue. There are some dedicated posts on BHW which discuss Quora in depth where this has been discussed, my best advice is to have a read through them, and see if they offer any suggestions which our out of the box, or new to you. The folk in those threads are way more experienced than I with Quora, and helpful too

Thats a good question. Both have different strengths and weaknesses. When it comes to KW research Ahrefs sucks at KW difficulty but it has some cool features in its reports. However, SEMrush has the upper hand. When it comes to competitor research, Ahrefs is better.
If I had to choose one, I prefer Ahrefs, but the more I use Semrush, the narrower the gap gets.
Moz is also pretty decent.

I have told the both techniques of QUORA to my friend few days ago this site: keyword and ahrefs hack too,
But I personally liked AHREFS hack because we have proven numbers, with the help of AHREFS.
@fasttrak plz publish these types of hacks ,... you are doing. great job

For sure, it's not even a competition between the techniques. Ahrefs comes ahead easily. It's more about what you can do for free or with limited funds as Ahrefs is not the cheapest of tools to own.
