Interesting thread, thanks for sharing. I never tried Pinterest, i only used a Pinterest board at parasite and managed to rank it in Google some time ago

Anyway... It sounds too easy for me - you can take a fresh account, share a good content and it will simply attract people by itself? How do they find your pins? They search for keywords you used there?

Update: Read into it a bit more. I didn't know it was that easy to "rank" on Pinterest. And won't be be duplicate content or duplicate pins?

That is basically all I do. My pins come up in users searches.

I have tried promoting pins, but the results (profits) have not been anywhere near as good as simply creating pins with decent images. I was talking to another member a month or so ago who was encouraging me to have a proper look into Pinterest, he said that he created a couple of hundred pins across multiple boards and gets a steady stream of traffic from them every month. I am simply doing exactly the same.

Thanks for sharing. Same methods can apply to other platforms? Can't afford ahrefs and only using keysearch at the moment.

I have a blog that is pretty much Pinterest only traffic. I had one pin blow up on me (250k+ shares so far) and it's been great. I'm definitely going to have to try this method out and see if I can get some more cash coming in!

To bad that Pinterest is as good as dead when it comes to free organic traffic, the group boards that aren't spammed to death won't take new applications and since they have a paid model the organic reach is almost just as high as Facebook fanpages.

Too little too late (i guess that why it is public now)

That is impressive. From what I can see, the more well targeted pins you throw at it, the more traffic you gain. The 80/20 applies to pinterest, the same as any other part of SEO.

Yes. I have never used the exact same image TONS of times. It all depends on your niche / target audience.

Last day trying geasy's latest method, I found many domains getting tons of traffic and shares from pinterest with a really low RD and DR
