Essentially, it allows you to work out the most socially shared pieces of content for a keyword of your choice - this can allow you to work out what type of content gets shared and to construct your own articles along a similar theme. It's not the only thing that you can do with ahrefs - you can enter a site into their Site Explorer and then look at the most socially shared content on that site - this helps if you don't have keywords to begin with. The screenshot below shows the content on jeffbullas.com sorted by the most Facebook shares (you can sort by Twitter, G+, Linkedin, Pinterest, or total) - valuable information indeed if you also want to create virally successful content (even if you don't have Jeff's initial reach).

Really? Maybe i should up my price, people have been doing the same thing for $57/lifetime in ScrapeBox for the last 2 years.
But either way, it's a useful method.Also even looks like Ahrefs got their inspiration directly from ScrapeBox:

Hello, Sweetfunny. Tried running the addon. Most of them return as error 301s. I have decent proxies. What am I doing wrong? Thank you again for this awesome feature!

Any time HTTP errors are encountered like 301, 404, 403 etc it's always a good idea (in this or any other feature) to disable proxies and try a small sample of data that was failing without proxies to see if they are the cause. So give that a shot.

Just getting into content explorer, didn't realise scrapebox does this! Nice one, Pretty impressed, such a useful tool.
