Google Analytics is free, and there is clicky which I have always wanted to try... their heat maps look really cool.

You can buy 14 day accounts of ahref and majestic on fiverr.

So basically you can use the services for $10 a month.

I must say, ahrefs' new feature 'Positions Explorer' looks impressive, good for spying on competition and unfortunately on you too, two edged sword. I wish there was a way to remove my website info from their database. Blocked all their bot, and they still find a way to spy on me.

They have also add Keyword explorer and Position analysis which is totally amazing.

I would tend to agree with PinkDiamond and the others, Ahrefs is a pretty solid tool. Another useful one is MajesticSEO. There's also Open Site Explorer from MOZ, but it's quite expensive for what it is (and not as thorough as Ahrefs).

ps : Why people are saying to use Google Analytics ? Yes it's free but it's not the same kind of tool at all...

Because they have no idea what Ahrefs is and just trying to increase their post count.
@OP: I have access to almost all of the services out there and Ahrefs is just simply the best. My top 5 list is:

1. Ahrefs
2. Majestic
3. MOZ
4. Open Link Profiler
5. SEMRush - awesome for spying on what keywords your competitors are ranking.

So far Ahrefs is ruling the market.

Try at fiverr (as you can get in $5) before buying full pack for yourself.

Just the site explorer alone well worth the money IMO
