Ahref's bug?

Sometimes I used the free Ahrefs backlink checker to check my website.

Some days it says I have a lot of backlinks (which is true), but then some days it says only 2 backlinks in total. it changes back and forth day to day

Has anyone else had this problem before?

You are most likely inserting different versions of your domain or switching between paths without knowing. ref: https://prnt.sc/xldnve

domain.com is different than domain.com/ or www.domain.com

Sometimes they switch their data from "live" to "historical" which will give different numbers when checking the domain overview.
