Ahref Page authority not changed even with backlinks ?

My competitor has just 8 backlink from some websites. This websites has DA between 20-40.my competitor page authority is 18 but mine with 10 backlink from websites with DA 50-60 is 13 .... Why ?

1. If you are asking why your DR is lower, why are you providing incoming link DA?

2. Why do you care what the DR is?

The type of links will make a huge difference. Are your links contextual, within the first part of an article and d0follow? If not, that's why. But as my colleague above said, these metrics have no importance other than getting newbies hooked on the wrong things instead of ranking websites

It is possible that the page authority has not changed even with backlinks. This could be due to the quality and quantity of the backlinks, as well as other factors such as the age of the domain and the relevancy of the content.
