From experience with similar "blackmail" requests from selling phakes....on a stealth account just disregard and move on.

and if it were a legit account? what kind of implications would then one might face, considering that we got an actual legit response from a company
BTW Nike if wanted will not demand petty $750 .They will file a complaint against you or seek heavy damages from you..and not petty $750.

Come on it is fake, no huge azz company is going to email you and ask for $750. HAHAHA $750 is nothing for Nike, nothing at all.

its just blackmail,I have gotten this email from paypal a few times and its usually a scam of some kind.

On 99% that's scam. Just check address on Google Places, call to them, and ask about it !

Paste the headers of the email they sent you but remove your email address. Have you confirmed that it came from a valid @nike.com account?
Also, are you spelling it as Nik on purpose or did it really come from a company called Nik?

My guess would be someone is making VERO claims before the big companies. When you make a VERO claim, they send your information to the person making the claim. Someone is probably posing as a Nike legal, trying to extort people. I'm sure it has worked. It kind of freaks you out because you never shared any of your info, so you figure they have an "in".

Ahh..It's BS. Looks like generic a template.They have just changed the name and dates.
If it is real nik has referred to the listings and even included the screenshots of the listings as evidence

If both your Ebay and Paypal accounts were completely stealth and have no ties to you besides an email then what would you have to worry about? I am curious if the letter is legit though.

that seems funny as in there copy right they do right to sue company or individual person and that would be in millions if they go to court then i think lawyer will also not ask less than 5000$ for his fees so that mail should be sent by some of your buyer who just judge that you selling knockoffs

I was caught out selling fake good on ebay about 4 years ago. I won't go too much in the nitty gritty, as it's quite easily searched for on google, but it involved a large fine for me and a jail sentence for my business partner.
Bear in mind this was the UK, but over here we were caught and charged by the Trading Standards, and nobody prior to the arrest had ever contacted us. Nobody else was involved in this until the charge was bought to court where they had information from the real manufacturer confirming the clothes were fake and how much business and money they had lost out on by us selling these fake goods.
I highly doubt a legitimate company would contact you directly asking for money. If anything it's a scare tactic to put you off selling them again.
