Agressive forum techniques

Earlier I joined a different forum simialr to this and I found heir attempts to get me to upgrade very aggressive. Constantly in your face.

Here however I have been virtually unaware that there is an option to upgrade. Can someone please link me to where I can find out what an upgraded account here offers? TIA.

Have to say if I owned a site like this I'd be pushing the upgrades a lot more.
