Agency takover

I'm not sure is this the right place to ask, if it's not - feel free to move the topic to the right place.

I was offered by a friend of mine, who owns outreach agency to take over their operation side.

They are doing cold email outreach, and this is what they are doing right now:

Cold email outreach, b2b, scraped and verified leads
3000 prospects per month
3-4 sequence emails
2 emails per account (10 days warm up)
Open rate bellow 30 all the time, response rate max 2

(they outsource this for about 600$)

MY question is:

How can I do the same service better and cheaper (ideally)

4 emails per client (2 weeks warm up) (40$)
7000 prospects scraped and verified (around 100$)
better copy (30$)
WHAT SERVICE TO CHOOSE for (hopefully) better open rate than 30%? (100$ per account budget)

Am I thinking properly? Am I missing something?

Seems like I can do it at cost of billow 300$ per account, right?

Do they outreach for client acquisition or anything else?

they do b2b outreach for their clients. its mostly services in b2b sector like development, branding, etc.

you could say client acqusition, but not salesy, rather than pushing people to hop on a call

There are some services on Fiverr for cold email marketing. Search to find cheap services.

I don't trust them, and price is similar to this anyhow. I belive it should be done inhouse, or for me to have full control over.

Anyone has experience in running a private server, maybe that makes sense?
