I would say that a aged domain is a domain that has been created for about six months. When you create the domain make a site put content on the site and updated the site and or blog about once a week. Start back linking the content with a drip feed to relevant content and use diverse anchors when linking. When the site has a good amount of unique content and has aged then it would be a little safer to get more aggressive with your back linking. Google and other search engines are some what suspicious of new sites and there intentions, So all you need to do is play it safe in the begin. I would not bring out Scrapebox and Xrummer just yet give it some time and let your content build in a natural way.
