I've read a lot about the value of buying aged domains with existing backlinks etc but does this work the same way for .uk domains as it does for standard TLDs like .com?
I read somewhere that Nominet wipes the history of a domain when it drops so does this not include first registration date, therefore negating the benefit of the 'aged' aspect?
I appreciate that G will still retain the backlink history and the PR but is the benefit of the age a factor I should be considering?
