Aged domain, sudden drop in ranking

That was everything I wrote in his thread. Apparently, someone didn't like my posts and deleted them. I'm not slandering anybody. I don't think speaking the truth is slandering.

Check your links, are they still there? You'd be surprised how fast they get removed if not done right.

If you didn't purchase from him then you shouldn't have said that you didn't see any benefit from your own wikipedia links. You could however have said the part about it being against wikipedia's TOS without getting deleted. Try that again if you like.

Of course, my links are there. They've been there for months already. I even added a third one a few minutes ago (just to try it again) and most probably it will stay too.
I checked that thread again and it seemed that in fact Winchester's links are the ones that got deleted (according to his customers' complaints). He claimed that competitors did it but I don't think so. There are enough people at Wikipedia deleting spam links (there is rarely a need a competitor to do it). But whatever, everybody is free to give his/her own money to anyone.

I have better job to do than reposting same posts so I don't see any sense in reposting in that thread again. I tried to be helpful, obviously it didn't work. It's the same situation with pretty much every forum (and the funny thing is each forum thinks it's better than the rest). The fact is my helpful info has been deleted without any good reason, just to protect someone's business.

And by the way, Winchester refused to admit that what I said about his service being against Wikipedia terms was true. Obviously, this denial is not a good recommendation for him and his service. The only legal reason to deny it is if he actually don't understand what "notability" means, which is also not a recommendation for his cleverness and abilities to outsmart Wikipedia.

I don't know the guy, I haven't done any business with him and I do not have anything against him. He's just a nickname for me, I even don't know if I've read other posts by him. But his is definitely not a proper way to do business.

The strange thing was when I mentioned this on Winchester's thread, my posts were deleted. I wouldn't trust a service involved in censorship.

So every so often I do a search for my name just so I can find any negative association with my name so I just stumbled upon this.

First and foremost your statements were deleted because they were negative towards my service and you weren't a customer. Those are BST rules, not something I control and it was not censorship on my part. Just the rules you've agreed to as a member of this community.

Also, buying a paid link on Wikipedia is a ToS violation. If you took a moment to understand my service it was that I created quality content and helped you link it to Wikipedia. There for in a legal sense you paid for my time and the content. (You'll notice if you do take the time to read my threads that my understanding of law isn't exactly novice.)

As far as customer complaints and threads closing it was due to circumstances not related to the quality of the service and all those clients have been properly refunded at cost to myself.

I suggest though that next time you have an issue with a vendor, and begin to sully their name in a thread you take the time to contact them directly for further insight into the issue so they don't have to come out and defend their name - which as far as BST's go are really a brand.

Any further issues feel free to contact me I will not continue this discussion here as it would just get this thread further off-topic.

Well, maybe for the fourth time I am going to say that your service (or any other similar service) does not fulfil Wikipedia's requirement for notability. It doesn't matter whether you create a quality content or not. A site is not going to become notable just because of this. So, you are completely wrong on your interepretation of this point.

As for legal experience, I doubt you have more than me but this actually doesn't have any significance in this case - legally or not you cannot make a site notable with your service. And yes, I completely understand your service. And I actually do not have anything against it. This is a BH forum after all.

As for the deletion of my posts, I haven't said anything negative for your service in your thread so your explanation is actually not correct. And note that I do not need to use your service in order to point that it does not comply with Wikipedia's policy contrary to your claims. Deleting this is exactly censorship.

Feel free to search for your name again. I mentioned it only because some other member did it before that. Anyway, I wish you success with your sales and I hope your service helps people in the long run.
