'Aged' domain question

I have a domain that was previously owned by someone else, is this good in as far as the domain is now 'aged' when I bought it - or does it only work per owner/registrant?

Domain became lapsed, bought it from godaddy.

Did u get it in auction or did you register it if you use an age checker and it's real your fine. If ownership changed hands your good as long as you did not register it as a new domain hope it help if your still confused pm me Ill help.

I registered it.

My domain was first registered in 2005, age checker shows 5 years, 7 months.

I am still in the same niche as the original site that obviously didn't work out.

On balance, is this good or bad for me?
