Aged domain / content - How long until begin link building

Hi guys!

Looking for a little advice on this. Obviously no one knows the true answer but is there any case studies or advice you could point me towards?

If a site is aged (1 year) and you add content to it after the year, can you immediately add links? The site has aged but the content is not. We're a little worried about this.

It does not matter when you build links. They will get indexed at different times anyway. And of course at all times you can add links immediately after adding content, that's the most natural way.
