Aged Account vs New Account

Hi Guys,

I have a legit old channel which I created in 2007 (Only has 2 videos which were posted in 2007).

I was thinking of starting a YouTube channel/project where I will start to upload every day but wanted to check if I should create a new channel or use my old aged account.

I have heard some people say that are aged accounts are better as they help rank easier and have some authority but at same time some people saying that new YT accounts ie. 2020 are more beneficial as YT tends to let new channels videos go viral.

I was bit confused which would be best option. BTW the old account has hardly any subs so I will be starting from scratch from both.

if it where me, ide use the old account as it has activity with you
but, im not sure about current 2020 conditions with new accounts

Aged one's could add a layer of trust. That's it. If you go BH, they'll flag you irrespective of how aged the channel is.

Videos on new channels can go viral but it's not because the account is new. It's because the content is good enough in the eyes of YouTube.
Old channels get more trust from YouTube making ranking easier.
