I found a 16 year old domain I could purchase.
I've read most people agree age is important. So would 16 years really help even if the domain has no keywords in it? Found some 14+ to I'm interested in.
I was thinking of doing a "general domain" and then pages or subdomains would have the keywords and rank them. Is that a solid plan with a really old domain?
Using open site explorer (good tool?) it even has a bunch of links to it from site with authority over 50.
Hopefully this doesn't sound too n00b. Not even close to an SEO expert (and figure if age helps.. I could use it, haha).
