AGE site not receiving backlinks.

Hey guys,

Got a 4 year old domain, its pretty been dead for the past 2 in content changes but has been ranking high on some serps for those.

An week ago I started to backlink fill on this site, some very high quality ones and even some paid directories. I have pinged the sitemap on the aged site, and pinged the bl links..

Its like been 5-7 days since I did those, and they still aint showing up. Any suggestions? Keep pinging? or is this normal

What backlink checker are you using? Backlinks can sometimes take weeks or even months to come up. Also, I wouldn't recommend pinging your backlinks, just let google find them naturally

same happens for me with market samurai....
but well i know they are there cause the scrapebox link checker found them so

I'm also using market samurai, to check back-links.. What free alternatives are their?

Majestic is intergrated into market samurai...that wont make any difference
