Hey everyone!

I hit 100k last year with my art account. It was amazing because all my posts and reels had reach and there were always new people coming in. (and new jobs)
After I hit 100k, my followers, per day went from 300/500 to -20.

Now my content is mostly shown to my own followers and the likes went from 3k+ to 500.
I had a time when I couldn't be very active because of work but overall I kept it alive.
I post images/carousels and reels and I even went live every week. But still negative growth!

My overall reach went from 800k/1m to just 40k! This is very frustrating but I don't want to give up.

Any idea what happened here and what I can do to get over it?

Maybe your content is no longer resonating with your audience, are you following the trends? Like the trendy music, templates... etc. My point is you have to always be up-to-date.

Consistency and activity are crucial. You should interact more with your audience.
Also I think running some contests and giveaways can help you get more followers and engagement.

I'd suggest running ads for a month to get some engagement so that Instagram starts suggesting your content again. Don't buy fake engagement from SMM panels because that will kill your account completely.

You can use mother/slave method as are sellers here who offer to get The engagement up or try changing the content

It's not a stretch to think the sudden pause in content creation, even if briefly, affected your reach to some degree. Could be more to it than that though.

  1. Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure your content is relevant to your audience.
  2. Engage with your community by responding to comments and participating in relevant conversations.
  3. Collaborate with other artists or influencers in your niche to expand your reach.
  4. Utilize appropriate hashtags and captivating captions to improve visibility and inspire interaction on your posts.
Building and engaging an audience requires dedication and patience, so remain persistent.

There must be a change in your content or you must have had bots or dead followers which are going away with Instagram purge.

Try posting trending and niche based viral reels to grow the account.

It may not be anything you did or didn't do. Instagram is very, VERY funny like that. Don't give up, as it will come back around again. It's just a matter of when..
