Normally you can change after 12 hours of purchase. If there is a problem, you are still under warranty. I see the warranty period is usually 24 hours

It's best to buy from reputable sellers. Always check seller's reputation before buying accounts.
But in general, it's better to learn how to properly create IG accounts by urself. Then you have a history of account and in case of problems its easier to diagnose. Since IG is super strict if u buy an account that has a low trust score it can cause trouble from the start but when u create ur own account and u know u did a good job with the creation process now you have a quality account and an easier start.

It takes one week for you to be able to change an IG email Adress if you are logging on from new devices.
Instagram does this incase an account is hacked, can be easily recovered before the email is changed
What you do is that get seller to change the email to yours on their phone before they transfer to you and you can change the password.

You should be able to do it right away if you buy from trustworthy sellers.
