Can I link to the money site immediately after purchasing an expired domain? According to one article, 36 days later

It's recommended to wait 60 days after website creation.

I have linked it immediately, will it have any negative effect? It's been around 20 days since I did 301 to my money site.

I have never seen a negative affect. But it is definitely a pattern if multiple websites link to the same website upon creation.

Thanks for quick reply. I have just redirected 1 domain as of now. I guess I'll see the effects after 30/40 days...

Did you 301 redirect the domain or build a pbn and link back to your website?

I redirected to my money site directly from my godaddy dashboard.

You 301 redirected the site.

These can be tricky. The safest way is to build out the site and link to your site as a PBN. The other safe thing is to build out the site with a few pages and age it before redirecting it to your money site.

Buying a domain and redirecting it strait to your money site is risky. Google knows and watches for this trick. You may be OK doing it once but I would not do it again.

I thought you made it into a PBN and linked to your money site. I stay away from redirecting expired domains to my sites because of the risk.

It won't give much more negative effect but you can wait for 30 to 60 days for not getting any issue on your money site.
