For editing and even animation AE is truly amazing. I have a full suite membership so I get to do animation in adobe illustrator and transfer it to AE. Beast

One more vote for AE. and cool thing is if you are familiar with adobe photoshop, then you are halfway there to learn AE. Good Luck
