After 3 months Only Homepage Indexed

Guys, I bought expired domain 3 months ago.

I have 6 long article with full of text/images. Only homepage indexed.

If domain is penalized, homepage still can be indexed ?

How far is the current topic from the original topic website had?
 
Submit a sitemap to Google Search Console, it might help to speed up your indexing
 
It's likely that the person who had the domain before you did something unethical. I would advise buying a new domain and declaring it a loss. Otherwise, you'll have to spend a lot of time and effort determining whether it has been penalized and attempting to have the penalty lifted.
Simply purchase a new domain because it isn't worth it.
 
Google be like "what noobery we got here? I got ai content problems into the hundreds of posts a day, and this bro wants me to use my nearly quantum ass CPU on 6 pages?" :D

When you get up to 40 or 50 articles, and they have been drip feed date-wise, then you will defo have traffic and indexing. Don't dump the domain. Purchase another one as some are suggesting, and just run it in conjunction, until you can be sure that there either is a penalty or the niche is not just tough, or however many pizzas the google staff ate the night before and adjusted the algo.
