What I can tell you
1. Gambling is a very profitable niche (thanks to lazy people that do not want to work and get rich quick without doing anything)
2. Some traffic sources will not allow you to run adverts (you will need a landing page, whitehat complaint ad or use email marketing to scale through)
3. Only promote a Gambling offer that works (are other affiliates promoting it? Any results?)

You should create a website to lead customers there instead of leading directly to the main link. This will minimize the risk of accounts running ads being banned, and you should also choose good units to combine.
