I have plenty of time to spend and want to know if there's a good guide or a course on making a affiliate website of some sort. I just want to know the basic idea and tweak it as I go. I'm willing to invest as well. Would love to get some suggestions. Thanks!

I would go through forum especially sticky threads or YouTube

well it also depends on the niche and what you are trying to accomplish. do you just want a lander or a full site i.e. a blog about the product(s) ? both types work.. so if you can build a website you can also build an affiliate website there isnt much difference, you just have to add advertising basically.
