Affiliate...Sound Legit??

Hi guys was hoping someone could give me some advice.

Ive just got my web site up and running and signed up to an affiliate product I reckon I can promote well with the general theme of my site.

However the affliate link I am provided with takes the clicker to a page that not only has a weak sales pitch but doesnt even sell the product!! I was actually struggling to find where I could buy it when I clicked it myself to test my links.

The page you are taken to offers you to *sign up to my newsletter*, so after signing up to the newsletter you get a confirmation link via email. This link takes you to a similar page however it is a LOT more sales orientated and there were have the product in all its *buy me now* glory spammed throughout the page.

Am I likely to get the sale if it comes from this confirmation link?

stay on that list and everytime one of those newsletters comes ask yourself wheter you would by the product or not

also are you sure your not promoting an email submit cpa because you were kinda vague when you said that you signed up to an affiliate

depends what your meant to be advertising, if your being paid comms on getting them to sign up then i would say stick with it and give it ago, however if its a costly product which the initial page doesnt talk about or even show where to buy it, then i would walk away and find a similar product to advertise
