I'm looking for affiliate programs about, or offer products related to music. I'm an EDM producer, and have two songs released on a major label with many more to come out with that label. So my reputation is growing fast. I got the idea of creating an email list revolving around offering free advice and tips on helping producers succeed. Whether it be how to make their music sound better, simple tricks, etc.

I mentioned the idea 10 mins ago on Facebook and already have 75+ people interested in signing up. So are there affiliate programs that offer music products, or products for music producers?

Not sure on affiliate programs for music per se, but you could look at Amazon associates to sell equipment and software. Don't put associate links directly in an email though they forbid it so you'd need an intermediate landing page.

You could also take a cut from crowd funding a bulk buy somehow. And then there's the obligatory clickbank product you could make (e books, course, whatever you want to call it)

Didn't think about Amazon affiliates! Will look more into that. Would I be okay with with a link shortener rather than buying a domain name to redirect them?

Also I poked around on Clickbank and I saw a few decent products. But I don't want to cycle those few products too much, then people would pick up the idea that I'm getting paid to promote their stuff. And I don't want to give that sketchy vibe for them to think I'm doing it solely for the money.

I was thinking more in terms of creating your own product for clickbank rather than pushing someone else's but fair point.

I wouldn't risk redirects with amazon still, I'd always go for a lander and a brief review. With your experience in the field it should work best anyway because essentially your giving a recommendation. You can source a domain for pennies usually and hosting need cost very little. Shared hosting would be fine for it so you're looking at under £5 a month.

You could also try promoting Netflix, even if they sell movies, not music.

I'd ask on audiosex.pro first. I believe Steinberg, Native Instruments and so on have reseller programs. But IMO you could focus on e-learning and sample packs. For example, talk to BHK Samples on Facebook. It's a nice guy and the samples are top notch (not only dnb) or contact people like Steve Duda, his Serum Synth is a safe bet.

Make some video showing what can you do with them and profit :D
