Affiliate Program on Amazon

first create a nice website , and ask to join there program, once they say yes we accept you, then sell items ...

once your accepted then we can suggest more

I've requested to be accepted based on my youtube channel, would I have a lot better chance if I added a website that linked some things from my youtube channel to be accepted on their affiliate program?

definitely a website is better

OP,

Are you violating ANY Amazon rules?

If not, why worry?

if you made a website, you would already have no questions

1. you apply for amazon affiliate.
2. you have to get three qualifying sales within 180 days.
3. after third qualifying sale, they will automatically review your site for final rejecting/approval.

a. Do you have three qualifying sales yet?
b. How much traffic or how many subscribers do you have on said video(s)
c. Are the videos original, or copied from somewhere else?

A website would certainly help your cause.
