Affiliate program for adult site

Hi guys, I am new here and would really appreciate some help and advise. I have a newly built adult website with videos and pics for viewing and download.
I was thinking of adding live cam chat as I know a cam model that is willing to offer the service. However research makes me think an affiliate program might be a better idea. Do these programs really work? I saw a tube site claiming big money can be earned by downloading a database of videos to my site. Seems the easy part is creating the site...making it pay is the real challenge.
I have used the search button and gained some knowledge but some replies here would really help.

Yes, most affiliate programs will pay good money. But getting the traffic to your site is the real challenge.

Thanks for your reply, so I guess work at getting my traffic up then look at an affiliate program is the way to go?

You can have the affiliate ads up while you start building traffic. Just keep in mind that the hard part is getting the traffic. No easy pay day.

I will use the search button for a few days and try to gain some more knowledge on gaining traffic. Any advise on this subject would be much appreciated.
BTW how do I donate?

Post watermarked videos to top adult video sites works well but lots of work. Link exchanges help. I also use plugrush a traffic exchange. Twitter, tumblr, all good options.

I really am a newbie...I did not know it was acceptable to advertise porn on social media sites. I have a lot of work to do to crack this is can see!

tumblr and twitter are good for traffic, but you can also use sites like punchpin, sex.com, snatchly, etc....

Yes tumblr is the best for traffic and try to post your site as signature on some porn forums or female nude celebrities forums.

You won't get decent money from Plugrush, better choose sponsor/affiliate program from your niche.

Hi Guys! I don't mean to butt in on your thread, but I have a similar question to the OP and think your input could benefit both of us....

I was a pretty big player in the adult amateur market back in the late 90's/early 2000's. I got out for a bit and have now jumped back in, it's a whole new animal compared to back in the day. Which brings me to the reason for this post. I have created a new mobile/desktop site and have now setup my affiliate program. I am hoping y'all would be so kind to give me some tips and advice as to the best setup for payouts and program rules.


I've always run my sites legit for both the buyer and my webmasters. No spam, no popups, no ads, no exit consoles, and basically - no BS...I play fair and I pay fair. I want to work with my affiliates as a team. Hell, we need each other to make money. So, instead of coming on here and promoting my program and site, at this time I am asking for any words of wisdom or advice as what you guys feel makes the best and most fair Affiliate setup? If you could create your dream setup, what would it be? I appreciate your time and replies...

Go with mobile re direct....better money. Its hard to make people pay for porn nowadays.
