Apologises as not sure where to put this.

Recently I have been contacted by an affiliate programme I make money from (for over a year now). They have asked me to provide the websites in which I have been referring traffic from. I gave them a couple but they said that they get no traffic from the websites in question. I have a LOT of sites so said I would try and get back to them about it once I have looked into it further. They said if I don't respond promptly they will deactivate my account.

It is going to be quite a hassle to go through my sites for them..but if they deactivate my account before I have a chance to go through them then I will still want to go through them to stop promoting them.

I have a feeling that the promotion I did for this particular programme maybe more social than website orientated. I don't cloak any links either.

Anyway I was just wondering something though. Why can't the affiliate programme see where my links are coming from? Should they be able to? I am a bit suspicious as to why they don't know already?

Thanks for the help.

Whats the network called?

Strange that they cant find where your traffics coming from.

Are you sure your not doing something shady?

This happened for me also, on tradedoubler. I explained that the links were cloaked to hide from google, and they confirmed that was OK for them after they tested a few of the links.

It is their own in-house programme. It isn't on a network.

I am not doing anything shady that I know of!

It has really annoyed me how they went instantly into a threat about it all...its definitely made me glad that I have moved towards selling my own stuff instead of promoting others stuff. I don't really want to reply on the defensive though so waiting to calm a bit before asking them what the actual issue is.

The affiliate manager just want to learn your method/LP and want to copy it for himself. He likes your conversion rate dude :+)

I actually asked them what the specific problem was - that I logged into my account and there is no tracking. They haven't responded at all.

Even if it's in house they must be able to know where your traffic is coming from or it's either the AM that do not have this option in his panel . Or as somebody else said some affiliate managers are known for stealing landing pages/traffic sources from publishers .
