affiliate offer vs personal product

What are yalls thoughts on creating your own info product for your media buying campaigns instead of choosing an affiliate offer. From what im gathering a big advantage in media buying is the amount of control you have over your traffic. Meaning if you dont get any its 100% something you did wrong instead of doing perfect SEO for 9 months and having google change their algorithm and f*ck you over. With that being said it feels like affilite offers would negate that advantage due to the amount of restrictions the network may place on you. Not including the possibility of being banned or not payed on unfair accusations. Basically what im asking is has anyone had experience making their own product or service for a media buying campaign and how would you compare it to just choosing an offer from an affiliate network?

If you are capable than it's always better to make your own great product.

It's a great starting point prior to becoming a merchant yourself.

Whatever route you choose – go hard and stop at nothing!

Do not forget that in case of you own CoD product for example you will have risks with refunds, leading products to users etc etc. Better to start from selling a knowledge - it's the best way to try yourself as full interpreter. Also affiliate offers is good choice to try yourself and to find out how the product actually sells and if you are able to sell it profitably
