I came across this affiliate-marketing site with what seemed a lot of elements in its articles--videos, images, a lot of text--but when I ran its pages through GTMetrix, there are only 13 requests! How is this possible? Can someone dissect this page and tell what's going on?
Even the simplest pages on my sites are 30+ requests, and I think I've optimized my sites very well (they're faster than 1.0 second load time but much simpler too). Anyways, here are the links to this guy's site and the GTMetrix report:
