Affiliate marketing best methods

I am exploring affiliate marketing for the first time. I am curious as to what exact methods people are using.

So far ive seen: Posting links on reddit/pintrest, making youtube videos related to your niche and promoting products, creating blog posts and enhancing them with SEO and google ads, etc

Are these methods viable? I know it depends on the niche, but I mean in general. What other methods of affiliate marketing work?

Yes, those methods work, and many affiliates still use them. Other effective options include email marketing, niche landing pages, TikTok/Instagram content, product reviews, comparison pages, and using SEO to target buyer intent keywords.
 
Display ads on your sites or other people's sites. Inline affliate links on your site.
Parasites seo. These 3 methods work for me.
 
All the stuff you mentioned totally works, people still make money with Reddit, Pinterest pins, YouTube reviews and SEO blogs every day.
I just went a different route this year - started running Facebook ads to sweepstakes offers (iPhone giveaways, gift cards, that kind of thing). Did one course in January, learned basic cloaking and tracking, and it’s been pretty consistent for me since.
 
hose methods are solid and work if done right. Beyond that, people also use email marketing, building small niche communities (discord, telegram), creating micro content on tiktok,instagram and paid ads if the margin allows.

Another approach is to focus on building a loyal audience first through newsletters, niche social communities or short form content. Once trust is established, affiliate promotions perform much better.

Organic still works for sure, but when I got into FB ads the biggest shift for me was understanding how traffic hits different pages. I tried with a few cloaking tools like Trustcloaker, Trafficshield etc. just to learn the flow to see how it handled filtering and tracking. Helped me get the basics down before scaling anything.
 
Building trust with a niche audience through email, social communities or short form content often boosts affiliate performance. Combining this with seo micro content and selective paid ads can create a well rounded strategy.
 
The methods everyone mentions work, but they don't work on their own. The important thing is to have targeted traffic, and of course, a clear angle. In general, what converts best in affiliate marketing today is:

Real Content.
YouTube (if you can guide it to solve specific problems, the better)
SEO in specific niches
Small, well-tested paid traffic.

Posting random links no longer works. What does work is creating real content that solves a need and then placing the link where it truly makes sense.
 
Yeah, all the methods you listed work, but results depend on niche + execution. Other solid affiliate methods:
  • Email marketing / newsletters — build a list, push offers
  • Push notifications / web push for repeat traffic
  • Micro-SaaS / tool review funnels — recommend products via demo or free tool
  • Paid traffic arbitrage (TikTok, Facebook, native ads) — works if margins are solid
  • Coupon / deal sites — high conversion if people are price-sensitive
Basically, any channel that drives interested traffic can work for affiliates.

Posting links on Reddit will get you banned unless you're doing it masterfully, which i doubt

Yes, those methods are still viable—YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, and SEO blogs all work if you provide real value instead of just dropping links.
Other strong methods include TikTok/Shorts content, email newsletters, niche Facebook groups, comparison sites, and building simple review/guide websites.
The real key is consistent content + traffic + trust, not the platform itself.
 
use ai for this and also you have to be good in email marketing then you can earn money with it.
