It is a unique and personalized link that we share with the affiliate.
It is used to track traffic and conversions (registrations, deposits, purchases, etc.) that come through that affiliate.
Everything that happens from that link is directly attributed to the affiliate who owns that link.
Example: I am an affiliate, I have my own link, and I share it on my social media. If someone registers, the commission is mine.
Now talking about sub-partners (or sub-affiliates)
This is another affiliate who joins the program thanks to you.
Basically, you “recruit” or invite them, and they become your referral within the affiliate system.
Every time that sub-affiliate generates income for the company, you receive an extra percentage of their earnings.
Example: I invite a content creator to join the program as a sub-affiliate. They work with their own link, earn their direct commissions, and I also receive an extra share because they were my referral.
