Affiliate Link with bit.ly?

    Hi,

    i want to cloak an affiliate link with bit.ly, does it work? Sometimes i read, that bit.ly destroy the affiliate link?!
    Is this real or can i use bit.ly?

    No don't use any affiliate link directly with bit.ly, they usually catch that it's an affiliate link and they pop up a warning page like this whenever someone visits it.

    Instead, use your own domain to redirect to your affiliate link THEN you can shorten your domain name. It doesn't have to be a paid domain, you can use a service like smartdots.com

    This totally sucks the conversion rates. So you should better try get a better solution.

    awww mannn are you serious?? ...Wow i have spend the whole day making allllll my affiliate link with bit.ly and now i see this post ...kinda pissed of ATM

    but its a good thing i prefer to know this now ...

    arggg aving to do this sheit all over again grrr

    you spent a whole day creating links and you couldn't spend one second to check only one link to see if it's working? You are lucky you came across this thread I suppose :p

    hehe i havent sleep last night so today i was a litle bit confused but yeah..lol..well from my own computer the link seems to work but i dont want to take any chance cause mayby this doesent work on visitor browser
    no chance to take there i will change all this ASAP

    I just checked ****** and it seems cool but they have tons of restrictions on links.
