Hey guys,

I'm interested in this idea.

If the website has a shop with some items and doesn't have it's own affiliate link to give to affiliate marketers, is there any way i can for example promote their staff on my website and get a commission after a sale ??

Is that done with some script which must be implemented on their and my website or ... ?

You can have tracking script on your website, but the tracking will stop when the user leaves your website. So you won't have any idea of the number of conversions, and will only know how many users you sent there. If you want to be credited for sales, they have to implement an affiliate tracking script.

Stating the obvious: if they don't have an affiliate program, you need to contact them. If they go with it, it doesn't have to be an overly complicated thing. They can make it, so the product urls contain tracking (your affiliate id), what you can promote and they can track your performance.

Something like this:
whatever.com/product1/track=youraffiliateid
whatever.com/product2/track=youraffiliateid
...

So are they going to have to do this manually and send me the links or is there any script we both put on our websites ?

And how about cookie duration with this method ?

as stated, you must contact them and ask
if they say yes, it's up to them to implement it and provide you with links/panel
that's assuming their ecom platform has an affiliate feature built in.
they should be able to tell you what the cookie duration is. because they have power to adjust that number (along with commission percentage). cookie is usually 30 days.

an alternative method is find who they are buying their product from. search aliexpress and the usual websites ecom guys buy at.
say they are selling an item for $100. it may be on aliexpress for $10. place the orders yourself. you make all the revenue per sale, instead of a 30% [or whatever it is] commission.

Yea i heard about this, but the big flaw is that after user leaves i can't track his actions.

Nevertheless, is there any script like this on forum ?

its a complex script available as a plugin for most e-commerce platforms
woocommerce & shopify are two of the biggest CMS people use for e-com
google search "shopify affiliate plugin" "woocommerce affiliate plugin".
but it will be useless to you for your website based on the needs you originally posted.
the other guy has to set it up on their store.
unless maybe you plan on setting it up for them and getting paid.
